Marcos Jacob is committed to making marcosjacob.com usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology.

1. Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines are the recognised benchmark for making web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, motor, auditory, and cognitive.

2. What we’ve done

• Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds;
• Full keyboard navigation — every interactive control is reachable and operable without a mouse;
• Descriptive alternative text on product and content imagery;
• Clear, visible focus states and a logical reading and tab order;
• Semantic headings and properly labelled form fields for screen readers;
• Text that scales with your browser’s zoom and font settings without breaking the layout;
• Motion kept subtle, with reduced-motion preferences respected.

3. Ongoing work

Accessibility is never “finished”. We review the store against WCAG criteria as we add features and content, test with keyboard and screen-reader tools, and fix issues as they’re found.

4. Third-party content

Some parts of the experience rely on third parties (for example the payment and checkout flow). We choose partners that take accessibility seriously, but we don’t fully control their interfaces. If you hit a barrier in any of them, tell us and we’ll help and raise it with the provider.

5. Getting help, and giving feedback

If any part of the store is difficult to use with your setup — screen reader, magnifier, voice control, keyboard-only, or anything else — please email support@marcosjacob.com with the subject “Accessibility”. Tell us the page and what happened. A real person will reply within one business day, help you complete what you came to do (including placing an order by email or phone if needed), and work to fix the underlying issue.
