Why only five?
The Marcos Jacob story
“Most wardrobes are ninety percent noise. We make the other ten — the five pieces you actually wear, built heavy enough to keep.”

Weight first.
Everything follows.
Every Marcos Jacob piece starts with the fabric: 7.4 oz combed cotton jersey for the tees, 14 oz brushed-back fleece for the rest. Weight is what makes a basic drape instead of cling, last instead of thin, and feel like a decision rather than a default.
From there the work is restraint — clean blocks, dense ribbing, taped seams, and a cream woven label with nothing on it but our name.

Three colors,
dyed to one standard.
Cloud, Oat and Ink. Every piece comes in the same three, dyed to the same standard, so the line works as a system: any top over any bottom, any layer under any other.
No seasonal palettes, no limited drops, no fear of missing out. The color you buy this year is the color we make next year.
Three rules we don’t break
Measured, not marketed
We tell you the fabric weight in ounces, not adjectives. If a claim can’t be measured, we don’t make it.
Five pieces only
A piece earns its place by being worn, not by being new. When something can’t be improved, we leave it alone.
